Aaron Copland Fund for Music: In keeping with his lifelong devotion to contemporary music, Aaron Copland created the Fund and bequeathed to it a large part of his estate. The Fund was officially announced to the public in 1992. The Fund’s purpose is to encourage and improve public knowledge and appreciation of contemporary American music.
Edward T. Cone Foundation: Established in 1991, this charitable organization honors the legacy of the American composer, music theorist, and Princeton University professor, Edward T. Cone.
Hampsong Foundation: Founded in 2003 by American baritone Thomas Hampson, the Hampsong Foundation is dedicated to promoting the art of classical song as a means of fostering communication and understanding across cultures. Through workshops, master classes, performances, recordings, and digital resources, the Foundation connects students, educators, performers, and audiences with the rich cultural and historical contexts of song.
Mosaic Foundation (of R & P Heydon) supports the arts and education.
National Endowment for the Humanities: The National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) is an independent federal agency dedicated to supporting research, education, preservation, and public programs in the humanities.
T.D. Bland Family Foundation: The Bland Foundation assists regional arts programs in their community outreach efforts and to build arts infrastructure.
Virgil Thomson Foundation: Officially dissolved in 2025, the Virgil Thomson Foundation was dedicated to the support of contemporary music and the preservation of Thomson’s legacy.
